When your gadget becomes **frozen, unresponsive, or locked** on a white or [black screen](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50396/how-to-fix-apple-iphone-x-that-turned-off-and-no-longer-turns-on-or-stuck-on-a-black-screen), the first advised cure is to force restart it. This causes all apps and system processes to close and **reset your device** without impacting any vital data stored on the device's internal memory. If you haven't done so previously, you should give it a shot. Here's how to do it: \
Simply **press and hold the Power** and **Volume Down button**s simultaneously for **10 to 20 second**s to forcibly restart your iPhone 7 Plus, then release both buttons when the Apple logo displays. \
Wait until your gadget has completed a power cycle before
