Consider performing a **factory reset** and setting up your phone as if it were a new device. \
Before you **restore your phone,** make sure it's fully charged. \

2. Back up your device via iTunes. Any additional content should be transferred and synced to your PC.
3. Turn off Find My iPhone in **Settings > iCloud** if you're using iOS 6 or later.

- Getting your phone **back to normal**
- Use the cable that came with your device to connect it to your computer.
- When your iPhone shows in iTunes, select it.
- **Click Restore in the Summary panel.**
- To confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and wipe all data and content, click Restore again. iTunes will download the device software file and restore your device.
- After your device is restored to factory settings, it will restart. When it does, you’ll see the “**Slide to set up” welcome screen.**
