If the **operating system (iOS) is frozen or corrupted**, your iPhone may also not turn on. Make sure your iPhone is plugged in and then press and hold the Power (Sleep/Wake) and Home buttons for around 30 seconds, or until the Apple logo appears. If it doesn't work, try connecting your iPhone to your computer via a USB connection, then **pressing and holding the Power and Home buttons at the same time** until the Apple logo shows. This procedure frequently works, especially if **the problem** was caused by a software bug or a malicious program. \
If your device **won't start-up in the first place,** it appears that the regular system restoration method (through iTunes) won't work. You'll have to **resort to Recovery Mode** in this instance. Press and hold the Power button to enter recovery mode, then slide to turn it off. If your device isn't responding, press and holds the power button. For a few seconds, press and hold the Power and Home buttons at the same time. If the problem is with the operating system, it should quickly boot into recovery mode. If nothing happens, it's time to have your **iPhone repaired.**
