**Restart your device.** Minor firmware issues, such as erroneous applications on your phone, can be resolved by doing a simple reboot (soft reset). For a few seconds, press and hold the Power button until the Power off slider displays. Switch your iPhone off, wait a minute or two, and then turn it back on. \

**Downloading or updating an app on the App Store can be resumed.** \
This strategy can also help iPhone users who are stuck in the 'iPhone app waiting' condition when downloading an app. Here's how it's done:

1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone.
2. Find the program you wish to install.
3. To download a free version of the program, tap the Free button. To purchase a paid version, tap the Purchase button.
4. To continue, tap the Install button.

Follow the on-screen instructions until the app is downloaded and installed on your phone.
