**Software upgrades** have the potential to overwrite your current settings, leaving you with just two options: good or terrible. Apparently, the conclusion isn't favorable in this situation, and you'll need to take action to correct it. Resetting all settings on your **iPhone 7** is a suggested approach. This will return the system settings to their default settings, allowing you to manually customize the choices and features you want to utilize. Here's how you do it: \

1. Go to the **Settings tab.**
2. Select **General.**
3. **Reset** may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
4. Choose **Reset All Settings** from the drop-down menu. This restores system settings without altering any data saved on your phone's internal memory, so no data is lost.
5. To continue, enter your **device passcode i**f requested.
6. To confirm the system **settings reset, tap.**
