Some **updates** may automatically supersede your current settings. And this may result in one of two outcomes: good or terrible. Unfortunately, the conclusion was negative in your situation, as you were unable to hear anything from your **iPhone 7** after applying the latest [update](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/156355/what-is-google-pigeon-update). To eliminate this possibility, consider resetting all settings and then configuring individual features, including audio functions, as needed. To accomplish this, simply **follow these steps:** \

1. To get started, go to the **Home screen and tap Settings.**
2. Select **General.**
3. **Reset** may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
4. From the list of options, tap **Reset all settings.**
5. Continue by entering your device's passcode.
6. Finally, hit the option to approve the **reset of all settings.**

Wait until your device's system settings have been reset to their default defaults. This has no effect on any data or personal information saved on the internal memory of your iPhone, therefore there will be no data loss. To refresh the system and apply the most current updates, restart your iPhone. To get your iPhone back online, you'll need to set up and rejoin your Wi-Fi network.
