When certain circumstances are triggered, any program can go rogue at any time. If **Twitter** is performing strangely or crashing on your smartphone for the first time, it's most likely a random malfunction that may be resolved by restarting the program or device. The first thing you should do is: \

- **Close** or quit the **Twitter app.**
- Press and **hold the Power button** to do a soft reset or restart on your iPhone 7, then **slide to power off** the device fully. Press an**d hold the Power button for a few seconds** until the device power cycles.

Wait until the phone has fully started up before opening the Twitter app to verify whether it is still crashing.
