The step is to restore you**r iOS device using iTunes.** In this situation, you'll need to keep the backup iOS file safe in order to restore and utilize it. Try to restore from the most current and error-free backup iOS as much as possible. To get started, you'll need a computer (Windows or Mac) with the most recent version of iTunes installed. When you're ready to get started**, follow these steps:** \

1. Use the **USB cord** that came with [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer) 7 to connect it to your computer.
2. On your PC, **launch iTunes.**
3. Wait until your **iPhone 7** is detected by your computer or iTunes. On your iPhone, tap the option to Trust This Computer if offered.
4. Perform a **force restart** while your iPhone is connected by following these steps:
5. Simultaneously press and **hold the Sleep/Wake (Power)** and Volume Down buttons. Hold both buttons down until you get the Recovery Mode screen.
6. To **restore your device** from an iTunes backup, pick Restore when you get the choice to Restore or Update.
