You might begin by evaluating the current condition of your iPhone's battery. To begin, check the **state of your battery** and discover which applications are consuming the most power on your iPhone. You may find this information by heading to your device's battery use menu. The following is a map of how to get there: \

1. From the Home screen, **choose Settings.**
2. Select **General.**
3. The battery should be **tapped.**
4. **Scroll down to the area** that displays information about battery consumption.

This section will show you which of your applications are consuming the most battery life and how much power they take. Check your consumption time and compare it to your standby time as well. When the usage time and the standby time are the same, you know there's an issue. Something must have caused your iPhone to keep running and going into sleep mode. One of your apps is probably malfunctioning and that your iPhone is running that app continuously. To figure out which of your applications is causing all of these power issues, consider disabling or uninstalling and reinstalling the suspect apps one by one. Try to figure out which app is consuming the most juice on your iPhone, then do something with it to see if your **iPhone's battery life improves.**
