If you're new to the iPhone or iOS interface, the instructions below will help you get started with the Phone app for making and receiving calls: \

1. From the **Home screen,** choose Phone. **The dialer** or phone app screen will appear.
2. On the Keypad tab, type the phone number you wish to call, then **press the Call button to start the call.**
3. **Tap the phone number** of the person you want to call.
4. The **call starts.**
