If necessary, you can turn your **Wi-Fi hotspot on or off.** When not in use, you should disable or switch off your Wi-Fi hotspot since it might quickly consume your monthly data allocation. On your new iPhone, follow these steps: \

1. From the Home screen, **choose Settings.**
2. To continue, **tap Personal Hotspot.**
3. **Toggle the Personal Hotspot switch** on the following screen to turn the function on or off.

The **Personal Hotspot status should now be updated.**
