That being said, you should attempt it right now. To begin, here's how to **perform a soft reset on the iPhone 8 Plus**: \

1. For a few seconds**, press** and **hold the Side/Power button** until the Slide to Power Off option displays.
2. To totally turn off the gadget, **drag the slider.**
3. Press and **hold the Side/Power button** for another **30 seconds,** or until the Apple logo displays.

You will not lose any data if you do a **soft reset on your iPhone.**
