**Minor app malfunctions** or random network failures are most likely to blame in the beginning. **Restarting the app** should resolve these issues and get Netflix up and running properly once again. So, follow these steps to restart the app: \

1. **Swipe up from the bottom of your screen t**o the middle and keep it there until the App Switcher displays.
2. To find Netflix in the applications list, **swipe left or right.**
3. Touch and **hold the Netflix app** firmly.
4. Then, to clear the app hit the **Minus (-) sign/icon.**
5. Alternatively, as soon as you see the minus symbol, **swipe up to quit the Netflix app.**

If you see any other **background programs**, **close them all** as well so that none of them interfere in any conflict with your iPhone’s Netflix operations.
