In this scenario, upgrading the app may be able to remedy the problem. Bug fixes and security upgrades are frequently included in updates, ensuring that the software runs properly. If you haven't set your device to automatically install updates, you'll have to manually search for and install any available updates for your applications. Here's how to do it: \

1. To get started, go to the **Home screen** and hit the App Store button.
2. Tap the **Updates symbol** in the lower right corner of the App Store main screen. On the following page, you'll see a list of your applications that need to be updated.
3. To install a **new Snapchat update**, tap the Update icon next to Snapchat.
