If the browser becomes locked or unresponsive, you must **force the Safari program to quit.** In this instance, shutting the program normally will not be possible, necessitating a forced closure. Follow these instructions to **force the Safari app** to shut on your iPhone 8 Plus: \

1. To see your most recently used applications, **double-press the Home button on your iPhone.**
2. To find the **Safari app**, swipe right or left.
3. To close th**e Safari app preview**, swipe upon it.

**Restart your iPhone 8 Plus** once the app has been dismissed (soft reset). You may either utilize the restart option in your iPhone settings or follow the standard approach by pressing the Power or Side buttons. .When your **iPhone reboots**, try to open the Safari app then do some test browsing to see if the problem is fixed and that Safari is once again stable.
