**Device malfunctions** are frequently ascribed to a software glitch that occurs at random or is caused by a **bug.** Typically, such difficulties may be resolved simply by **restarting the device.** So, if you haven't already, follow these steps to restart your device: \

1. When the Slide to **Power Off prompt display**s, press the Si**de/Power button again.**
2. To totally **turn off your iPhone**, drag the slider.
3. Press and **hold the Side/Power button for 30 seconds,** or until the Apple logo displays.

**Restarting your iPhone** also refreshes the operating system and clears the internal memory, allowing it to function quicker and better. \
Data, personal information, and other materials saved on your device's internal memory will not be affected by a **soft reset or device restart.** Having said that, making a backup isn't going to be easy.
