Changing display settings like b**rightness, themes, wallpapers, alerts, ringtones, a**nd other things can also help you save [battery](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2755/a-new-kind-of-gravity-battery-might-have-unlimited-energy-storage) life. Reduce the screen brightness to a comfortable level if necessary, and use static wallpapers and plain themes. \
Alternatively, you may reset all settings on your iPhone 8 Plus to return them to their default values then modify them individually. Follow these steps to accomplish this:

1. **Open Settings** from the Home screen.
2. Select **General.**
3. **Reset** may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
4. Choose Reset all settings from the drop-down menu. This will restore the default system settings without damaging your iPhone data.
5. If asked, enter your **device's passcode.**
6. Then, to complete the settings reset, **press the choice.**

Your iPhone will resume on its own when the system settings are reset to defaults. After it has completely booted up, you may begin enabling the essential features and options.
