1. From the Home screen, **select App Store.**
2. To install the app on your device, sign in with your [Apple](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50029/mac-lost-or-stolen-what-can-i-or-apple-do) ID or create one if required.
3. Tap the Search icon after scrolling to the bottom of the screen.
4. To search the app directly from the store, type or enter Find My iPhone into the search area.
5. **Select Find My iPhone from the menu.**
6. Tap Get, then Install if required.
7. The Find My iPhone app will appear on the Home screen or in the Extras folder on [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer) once it has been successfully installed.
8. **Enter your Apple ID** and **password** in the app, then **press Sign In.**
