Most users are accustomed to changing or customizing their [Home](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/44095/best-solution-for-your-home) screens as they see fit. For whatever reason, the default home [screen](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/1382/print-something-that-is-not-shown-on-the-screen-using-wpf) arrangement does not appeal to everyone, and many people choose to change and reorganize their home screens. This should not be a problem, though, because if something goes wrong after testing a new theme or **Home screen [layout](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12853/android-layout-and-its-type)**, you can easily go back to the previous layout. The instructions below will guide you through the **process of resetting the iPhone 8 Plus's home screen:** \

1. Go to the **Settings tab.**
2. Select **General.**
3. **Restart by pressing** the Reset button.
4. Choose **Reset Home Screen Layout** from the drop-down menu.
5. To confirm the action, **tap Reset Home Screen.**

Wait until [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer)'s Home screen has been restored to its **default settings.**
