That’s why the study of animals is still incomplete. The reason behind this is the unsoundness of the kingdom. And it is hard to decide or predict with the help of observation. As sometimes what we see maybe not be correct in every situation. The **mammals and animals use signals to communicate with each other.** Now here the signal word is as important as the science behind the communication. \
What is a **signal**? In this context the word ‘**Signal**’ means any **information which spread out from any source it changes the behavior and situation of the receiver**, then that information is known as the signal. Here the source of the signal is known as **Signaller** and the receiver of the Signal is known as the **Receiver**. **Animal communication** is also **known** as **Biological communication** and the **study of animal** communication is known as the **Zoosemiotics.** \
**Types of Signals**

- Pheromones to chemical\
- Tactical cues to touch
- Visual cues
- Auditory cues to sound
- Electric signals

The method of communication varies from animal to animal the reason behind this is the change in the existing behavior like ants use to spread a special smell with the help of that smell other ants follow the same ant. \
**The purpose of communication** **Obtaining mates** The animals use the communication for mating and show the capability of mating and to show the attraction in the competition of mating process. **Establishment of Dominance** To show dominance and to protect the territory they use the communication method to tell others. **Coordination in the group** Communication is used to carry out the coordination in the group. **Respect for young** Communication is used to pay respect to the male and younger. The behavior of any animal in the area is categorized with the power he possesses. \
