Cache files and temporary data that have accumulated in the Camera app's cache folder can become corrupted at any time. When this happens, the entire camera app's functionality may be jeopardized. Bulky cache files might also make an app or device run very slowly. A soft reset or restart can also assist delete cache files from the phone, although it may not be able to completely erase everything. \
However, unlike Android devices, cached files on iOS devices are automatically removed when the operating system detects a need for additional space. Third-party apps, on the other hand, would necessitate manual clearing of cache and data. Because the iPhone Camera app is a stock program, iOS should erase the cache when necessary. However, if you want to be certain that everything has been erased, you can try unloading the app instead. This is how it's done: \

1. From the Home screen, select Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap iPhone Storage.
4. Tap Offload App. Doing so will free up storage and likewise empty cache on your iPhone 8.
