The process of clearing app cache and data on iOS differs from that on Android devices, but the result is the same. The approach for iOS is deleting and reinstalling the program. Here's how it's done if you want to give it a shot: \
1. **Press and hold the Spotify icon** (or any other Home screen icon) for a few seconds. 2. Tap the X in the corner of the Spotify app icon when the icons start to wobble. Spotify will be deleted or **uninstalled from your device** if you do so. 3. To confirm the operation, **tap Delete.** 4. From the Home screen, touch on an empty place to stop the icons from moving. 5**. Restart your phone** after that. 6. After [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer) has fully powered up, go to the App Store and search for the most recent version of Spotify to **download and install on your iPhone 8.**
