Minor app malfunctions or random network failures are most likely to blame in the beginning. **Restarting the app** should resolve these issues and get Netflix up and running properly once again. So, follow these steps to restart the app: \

1. **Swipe up from the bottom** of your screen to the middle and keep it there until the App Switcher displays.
2. To find **Netflix** in the applications list, **swipe left or right.**
3. **Touch and hold** the Netflix app firmly.
4. Then, to clear the app hit the **Minus (-) sign/icon.**
5. Alternatively, as soon as you see the minus symbol**, swipe up to quit the Netflix app.**

If you see any other background applications, close them all as well so that none of them interfere with Netflix's activities on [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer).
