If the problem is caused by **malware or software problems,** installing the most recent update for your iPhone may be a viable remedy. New iOS versions often provide security improvements or bug fixes to remedy any issues that are causing problems on the phone. If you haven't already done so, check to see if the iOS 11.4.1 update for your iPhone 8 is available. Here's how to do it:

1. From the Home screen, **choose Settings.**
2. **Select General.**
3. **Select Software Update** from the menu.

If the new iOS version is ready and you want to upgrade your iPhone right away, ensure sure it has at **least 50% battery life** and enough storage space to accommodate the update file. In addition, your smartphone must have a stable Wi-Fi internet connection to ensure that th**e update process won’t get interrupted.** Once you’re all set, follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the new update on your device.
