**Background programmes** are frequently to blame, especially when one of them fails or goes rogue following the installation of a new firmware [update](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/156355/what-is-google-pigeon-update). When a programme goes rogue, it's likely that it forces the processor to work nonstop until it's entirely overloaded. As a result, the item heats up to the point of being very hot. \

1. **Quickly press the Home button twice**. This will bring up a new screen with a list of all the applications you've lately used. These programmes are still operating in the background.
2. I**ndividual applications** may be **closed** by swiping upon them.

**Reboot your iPhone 8** once you've finished removing background apps to clear the internal memory of any erroneous cache files and to refresh the operating system. \
You may force your **iPhone to reboot** if it is overheating and the screen is unresponsive. This will also cause **background programmes to shut** and the operating system to reset. A **hard restart, l**ike a normal reboot or soft reset, will not impact any data saved on your iPhone's internal memory if done correctly. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X require a hard restart, which differs from prior processes. Here's how you do it: \

1. **Press** and **release the Volume Up button quickly.**
2. Then tap and **hold the Volume Down button** for a few seconds.
3. Finally, keep the **Side/Power button down** until the phone restarts.

Wait until the phone has **completely booted up** before using it as usual. do and check if this method work or not
