The instructions below will lead you through setting up your personal email account on the [**iPhone X**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50402/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-is-overheating) Mail app using any of the email providers such as iCloud, Google, or Yahoo. With simply your email address and password, you may **set up any of these email accounts. Here's how you do it:** \

1. Go to your **iPhone's settings menu.**
2. **Select Accounts & Passwords** from the drop-down menu.
3. Select **Add Account** from the drop-down menu.
4. To change your email provider, tap the drop-down menu. If your email provider isn't shown, pick Other and follow the instructions below to manually add your account.
5. Please **enter your email address** as well as your password.
6. Wait for the Mail app to validate your account details before tapping Next.
7. Choose whatever parts of your email account you wish to see on your smartphones, such as Contacts or Calendars.
8. **Tap Save** when you’re done to finish the **email account setup process.**
