If you need to **turn Wi-Fi off**, such as to preserve the battery, go to the Control Center and tap the Wi-Fi switch off. \

- Slide your finger up from the bottom of the **Home screen** to launch the Control Center on your iPhone X.
- Then, to **switch it off** or on, **hit the Wi-Fi symbol.**

To **turn off Wi-Fi on your iPhone X** in this situation, **flick the switch OFF.**
