**Keep things simple.** Some users utilize camera attachments to improve their experience, however, these same gadgets can sometimes bring issues. Remove any accessories you're using, whether it's an external cause, a detachable lens, or anything else. Simply [**restore**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51485/how-to-fix-my-iphone-se-that-cannot-update-or-restore-ios-showing-itunes-errors-3194-17) your iPhone to its original state by uninstalling any modifications, and then test the camera. If the problem disappears after that, one of your accessories is faulty. \
**Force the camera app to close.** In the past, **restarting the camera app** was known to cure small issues in older iPhone models. Make sure to test it out on your iPhone X, too. Follow these steps to do so: \

1. From the **Home screen, swipe up and pause**.
2. Firmly **touch and hold the app,** then tap the red circle with a horizontal line inside. You can also swipe up to close the app as soon as you see the red circle with a horizontal line inside.
