**Rebooting is the easiest and most effective way** to [fix](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81628/how-to-fix-your-broken-heart-try-out-these-ways-for-sure) small problems with mobile devices. If this is the first time this has happened, a reboot of your iPhone X should resolve the issue. It not only gives your phone a rest, but it also aids in the removal of temporary files and small software problems from the phone's memory. To begin, follow these steps to restart (soft reset) your iPhone X: \

1. **Press** and **hold the Side/Power** and Volume buttons together until the slider displays.
2. **Drag the slider** to totally turn off your iPhone X.
3. **Remove it** for around 30 seconds.
4. Press and hold the Side or **Power button** until the Apple logo shows after the timer has expired.
5. Wait until your [**iPhone X**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50468/how-to-fix-an-iphone-x-that-suddenly-lost-sound-or-no-audio-outputs) completely boots up then try to see if you are now able to connect to Wi-Fi and access the Internet on your phone.
