It's a good idea to keep your apps up to date. Apps, like [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer) system, are kept up to date via updates. As a result, app developers are releasing updates on a regular basis. Every new update for an application serves a critical function, which is to maintain the software reliable and free of faults. You must manually install new app updates on your smartphone if you haven't configured your applications to auto-update. A steady Wi-Fi internet connection and sufficient storage are two of the most important requirements for completing this task. If you've met all of the update criteria, you may manually i**nstall pending app upgrades,** such as Instagram, on your iPhone XR by following these steps: \

- Tap **App Store from the Home screen.**
- **Scroll all the way down** to the bottom of the screen and **touch the Updates tab.** This will bring up a list of any pending app updates.
- Select the option to **Update All Apps** at the same time by tapping the Update icon next to the Instagram app.

After upgrading applications, restart your iPhone to ensure that any new modifications are fully integrated. Then try launching Instagram again to check whether the issue has been resolved.
