**Faulty upgrades** may have overridden your phone's system settings, causing certain apps, such as Whatsapp, to become unstable. To rule out this possibility, you can **reset all of your iPhone X's settings** and then reconfigure them as needed. Here's how you get started and complete the task:

1. From the **Home screen, choose Settings.**
2. Select **General.**
3. **Reset** may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
4. If asked, **enter your device's passcode.**
5. Choose **Reset all settings** from the drop-down menu.

The **system settings will be reset** to their default values as a result of this action. In the process, no data will be harmed or erased. However, you must modify essential choices and reconnect to your iPhone's Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth connections.
