**Some upgrades will automatically change your device's settings.** As a result, it's possible that certain settings on your iPhone X have been automatically rearranged to increase battery usage. Check and modify settings like screen brightness, notification/alert frequencies, background app refresh, and the like to be sure this isn't the underlying reason. Other options for lowering energy usage include switching from animated to still or non-moving backgrounds or themes, as well as **deactivating unnecessary** services like Bluetooth, GPS, and other location services. \

- To see which applications or services are consuming the most power on your iPhone X, **go to Settings-**> **Energy, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen** to see which apps are using the most battery.

\
If you notice anything out of the ordinary, such as a certain app taking a high amount of power in the recent 5 hours, that app might be to blame. If that's the case, try clearing the rogue app first, or **uninstall it if necessary.**
