If your iPhone X suddenly starts [charging](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/310460/why-you-should-have-charging-stations-at-events) slowly after installing a new app, that app is most likely to blame. Either it's causing severe battery drain or it's causing the **iPhone's charging system to malfunction.** If this is the case, the best course of action is to delete or uninstall the suspect app from your iPhone in order to restore regular charging. On your iPhone X, follow these steps to delete apps: \

1. Press and **hold the app icon lightly** until it jiggles and the X appears on top of each app.
2. Then, on the **suspected program you wish to delete**, touch the X.

Alternatively, you can go to the settings menu on your iPhone X and delete the questionable app from there. \
Go to the **Settings**-> **General-**> **iPhone Storage** menu to do so. Tap the app you wish to remove from this menu, then s**elect the option to Offload App** or Delete App. After you've finished deleting questionable apps, **reset your iPhone X** and try charging it again to check whether what you did worked. Also, don't use your iPhone while it's being charged.
