This r**eset will erase all of your existing settings** while leaving data on the internal memory untouched. All default values and original settings are restored after the reset. As a result, any settings errors or invalid options will be removed. Here's how you do it: \
\

1. From the Home screen**, select Settings.**
2. Select **General.**
3. A reset can be found by **scrolling down and tapping it.**
4. Choose **Reset all settings** from the drop-down menu.
5. Enter your **device passcode** if prompted.
6. Then **press to check that the system settings** have been reset.

\
When the **reset is complete**, your iPhone should reboot on its own, but if it doesn't, you'll have to manually restart or soft reset it. A device restart or soft reset is recommended to clear cache files and transient system data that may have been corrupted as a result of the update installation.
