There are two solution \

## 1. Set the write protection tab to 'unlock.'

Verify that the write protection on your [**SD card**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SD_card) or SD card adapter is moved up to the unlock position. \
**2. Using the Diskpart tool, remove read-only characteristics.** If the write protection switch is set to unlock but the SD card still won't let you write to it, you may delete read-only characteristics with Diskpart by following the instructions below: \
1. **Run Diskpart** with administrative privileges. 2. Execute the following instructions in the following order: \
list of discs choose a disc n\
disc clear readonly 3 characteristics After a while, you'll get a notification that says '**Disk characteristics removed successfully.**' You may also close this window.
