to Using Disk Utility, **restore your permissions:**

1. **Select Utilities** from the Go menu.
2. Disk Utility may be accessed by **double-clicking it.**\
3. In the left pane, choose the volume for which you wish to fix permissions.
4. **Select the tab** for First Aid.
5. Select the disc on which the Adobe application will be installed, and then **select Repair Disk Permissions.**
