To get Internet Explorer on a [Mac](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12464/what-is-mac-o-s), follow these steps: \

- **Safari is now open** (this can be used to test the browser experience from other operating systems)
- Select **Preferences > Advanced** from the drop-down menu.
- A checkbox is located at the bottom of the page: **'Show Develop menu in menu bar'** should be checked.
- **Developer Tools** (also known as the Develop option in Safari's menu bar) is now available.
- When **Safari is active**, the Develop menu is available from the top toolbar.
- Navigate to **User-Agent.**
- You should be able to choose from a variety of **Internet Explorer** and Edge browser versions to test on a Mac, which should provide you with the user experience needed to test a new web-based product on those browsers.
- On Mac, any page you're on will immediately update to match the experience of **Internet Explorer** or Edge. Remember to use the User-Agent option in the Develop menu to switch back to Safari once you've viewed that page.
