**The writer Gopal Godse is the real brother of Nathuram Godse himself** and narrates his accounts of all the events. **The book covers all the events from the day of assassination to the day Nathuram Godse was hanged. **He shot Gandhi within the chest 3 times at point-blank vary**. He believed that Gandhi favored the political demands of India's Muslims throughout the partition of India. He planned the assassination with Narayan Apte and 6 others. After an effort that lasted quite a year, Godse was sentenced to death on eight November 1949. Godse was hanged at Ambala Central Jail on fifteen November 1949. He was aged 39 when he died.
