**Warren Wendall Wiersbe (May 16, 1929 – May 2, 2019) was an [American](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/52027/who-is-named-as-brand-ambassador-of-indo-american-arts-council-iaac) Christian pastor, Bible teacher, conference speaker, and prolific writer of Christian literature and theological works. .** Wiersbe is most known for his **50-book 'BE' series,** which includes titles like as **Be Real, Be Rich, Be Obedient, Be Mature, Be Joyful**, and other theological works. He was the pastor of **Chicago's Moody Church from 1971 to 1978**, and he took over as director of the Back to the Bible radio ministry from **Theodore Epp**.

Wiersbe was born on **May 16, 1929, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Fred and Gladys Wiersbe**, the youngest of four children. He attended **Washington High School in East Chicago**, where he became a dedicated Christian in 1945 at a Youth for Christ conference.
