**The book ‘Runs’n Ruins’ was written by the former Indian [International Cricketer](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/34389/which-off-spinner-won-the-ceat-cricket-award-for-top-international-cricketer-of-the-year) ‘Sunil Gavaskar’**.His full name is ‘Sunil Manohar Gavaskar’ and nicknamed as ‘Sunny’. He is known as one of the greatest Test Batsmen and best Opening Batsman in [Test Cricket](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/48216/who-is-the-youngest-test-cricketer) History. **He wrote ‘Runs’n Ruins’ in the year 1984**.
