**A Practitioner's Diary: The Complete Story of Indian Reforms: 2G, Power, and [Private](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/11097/java-access-modifiers-the-public-and-the-private-modifiers) [Enterprise](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/246/enterprise-java-beans-ejb)**:

In the fourth week of **May 2015**, **The Complete Story of Indian Reforms: 2G, Power, and Private Enterprise**: A **Practitioner's Diary** was written by **Pradeep Baijal**, the former head of the **Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)**.

\
The self-published book made headlines because the author claimed that former **Prime Minister Manmohan Singh** had told him that if he did not cooperate in the **2G fraud**, he would face consequences. He further said that the **CBI** had threatened him that if he did not comply, he would be hurt. \
In addition, he stated in an interview with a TV program that the UPA administration deleted several papers relating to the **2G** fraud. During the interview, he said that his accusations are not politically driven and that the former Prime Minister condoned his Ministers' actions. \
According to the author, Singh disregarded his worries over **Dayanidhi Maran's** appointment as telecom minister in 2004 as an instance of conflict of interest. In 2004, **TRAI** was appointed as the broadcasting regulator, and Maran was a broadcaster. \
**On April 24, 2015, the book was released.** \
