## [Wilfred Rhodes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilfred_Rhodes) owns the record for playing the most number of First-Class matches in the history of cricket. He played 1,110 matches in his First-Class career and holds the record by a huge margin of the second-positioned Frank Woolley who has played 978 matches.
