[Dr. Jitendra Singh](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jitendra_Singh_(politician,_born_1956)) is an **Indian physician and politician** who was born on November 6, 1956. He is the Ministry of Earth Science, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Atomic Energy, and the Prime Minister's Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and the Department of Space. He was the top **spokesman for the union territory of [Jammu and Kashmir](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/32057/which-is-the-article-that-provide-special-status-to-the-state-jammu-and-kashmir) and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party ([BJP](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/92689/the-reason-why-bjp-loses-the-election-in-delhi)) national leadership**. In the Indian general elections of 2014 and 2019, he won the Udhampur constituency for the 16th Lok Sabha and the 17th Lok Sabha, respectively. \
