Big Data is the **collection of a large database** that is **used in traditional computer techniques**. It is not a simple technique, but it covers a lot of areas in business and technology. It included or perform a different operation like **storing data, searching, sharing, transferring data & query and updating** some information of your data source.

In other words, you can say that big data is a **collection of small datasets** that are used in different generic term and also used to describe data whose volume and format can be used in self-service analytics.

If data is so large, and it is not easily handled or processed by **relational database engines.** Then

this type of data requires a different processing approach for data processing **called big data** approach, which uses a different technique for readily-available hardware.
