**Well, a few months back a news went viral on social media that Jasleen Kaur Josan becomes the second Indian women after Kalpana Chawla to be selected by NASA for the Mars Expedition which is going to be held in the year 2030.**

So let me clear you that the news was totally fake which got spread with a tweet done by Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises. There were around 1,700 retweets and 4,800 likes on that particular tweet. **Bollywood celebrity Raveena Tandon also retweeted on that tweet and saying that “it’s a proud moment for a country” as she thought the news was true.**

As the news was spreading rapidly on social media Jasleen Kaur Josan himself posted a status on Facebook to clear each and everything. **She clearly said that “First Indian lady to go to Mars for which I am working on a few of my proposals and research”.** *She added, “I am doing my post-graduation and will be starting my pilot training soon, also I am assisting few professors in research on a NASA-contracted project.”*

*She also added in her Facebook status that Mars 2030 is a long way from now even NASA has not made any such announcement yet about the final selection of astronauts to go to Mars, they are still working on it.”*
