**Steven Smith was awarded as the ICC Test Cricketer of the year award in the year 2017.** Steve is Australian team’s captain for the Test and One Day. He is currently one of the best batsmen in the word and on 30th December **he reached a Test batting rating of 947 which is the second highest as Sir Donald Bradman tops with the rating of 961.** \
Born on 2nd June 1989 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Steve initially was selected as a leg-spinner but later **after realizing his skills, he started batting primarily. Regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world Smith also leads New South Wales and Sydney Sixers in domestic cricket.** \
