He achieved this feat in a match against the **West Indies** at **Bay Oval, Tauranga, New Zealand on 3rd January 2018**. This was the third T20 international of the three-match series between **West Indies and NewZealand**. Opening the New Zealand innings with **Martin Guptill**, **Munro scored 104 runs off 53 balls at a strike rate of 196.22**. He was out in the final over of the New Zealand innings. Riding on Colin Munro’s century New Zealand scored **243 runs for the loss of 5 wickets**. In reply, West Indies were bowled out under 20 overs for **124** runs.
