**Sudha Karmaka**r was a noted, award-winning Marathi theatre person and pioneer of the Little Theatre Movement for children in **[Maharashtra](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/32925/why-was-the-jury-system-abolished-in-india-specifically-making-reference-to-the-k-m-nanavati-vs-state-of-maharashtra).** She **passed away on 5th February 2018 at the age of 84.** She won a lot of recognition for her work and intimately studied theatre for children. **She presented several plays for children, MADHUMANJARI, among the first.**

Colleagues and friends of Sudhatai shall remember her on 8th March 2018 in a special programme organized in her [memory](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39744/how-will-you-explain-java-memory-model-in-simple-terms-to-a-beginner) at Amar Hind Mandal at 6.30 pm.
