**February 20, 2018 :** The Center has constituted a board of trustees headed by the Vice Chairman of the [**NITI Aayog**](https://niti.gov.in/) to consider the Brahmaputra and flood control measures in Assam and neighboring states. Taking an interest in an AIR syndicated program, Assam Water Resource Minister Keshab Mahanta has educated this.
