At the **Ballon d'Or** event in **Zurich, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was voted FIFA World Coach of the Year for 2015**. **Luis Enrique was chosen ahead of Chile's Jorge Sampaoli and Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola for the prize, which is based on votes from international captains, coaches, and selected members of the global media.** \
In his **first season** in command, the **former Celta Vigo coach** guided the **Camp Nou side to a historic triple of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League.** \
**Luis Enrique**, who was **not present at the ceremony**, also won the **FIFA Club World Cup in 2015**, with **Barcelona overcoming River Plate in the final last month.** \
